Windows Server 2016 (upgraded from 2012 R2 hoping this would help resolve the issue) Here is my setup so you better my infrastructure which I don't think has any bottleneck here:ĮSXi 6.5 hosted the Plex server (and other tiny servers like firewalls) I don't have an other TV to test but I think this is server related as to client (Vizio and Xbox are showing the same issue which is resolved by reduce file size and streaming bandwidth needed).Īnyone having the same issue here? Again there is no transcoding when playing those files, I have checked. any other 4K movies in my collection (below that requirement works just fine). So from this, It seems like when the client is reporting a need for more than 55Mbps, the movie will not play correctly on the 2 devices that I have tried. Doing so, reduce the file size and allow the move Patriot's day to play just fine (can't recall the bandwidth necessary change but I believe it went below 55Mbps in this case). I have checked the file format and even started created my own MKV file to make sure they were formatted properly, only having the languages I need and make sure the audio would be DD 5.1 (every DTS track is being converted to DD 5.1 and removed from the REMUXed file). I then try to play the same files using my Xbox One S (Hard wired via 1Gbps connection), but the movie would still not play and have that stuttering issue.
